Welcome!
This is a web page in progress. You may have reached it by accident or, perhaps you know me and put my name in your search engine. So, I offer a brief explanation:
I have written about experiences and reflections in notebooks all my life. Recently I started going through them and decided that some could be polished a bit and, then, what to do?
A couple of family members suggested that I put writings up on a web page. Sounded like it might work. Just put them up and see how it comes together.
In addition to daily journals, I have pieces I have written through the years about growing up in Oakland, California, teaching in alternative schools, being a part of a theatre group of folks of all abilities, helping to run a coffee house for people with all abilities, travels with Nick and more.
I have a collection of pieces I wrote while participating in the Iowa Writer’s project. Most of the Metro High School writing comes from that experience.
This is just beginning so I am not urging anybody to spend any time on it. If you do and wish to comment, I believe there will be a place for that.
